Not All Data Gaps Are Equal—Where’s Yours?

Hi, Reader!

By now, you’ve seen how the Measurement Maturity Framework works:

Clarity – Are you asking the right questions?
Tracking – Are you measuring what actually matters?
Insight – Are you leveraging your data to make better decisions?
Action – Are you optimizing based on facts, not feelings?

But here’s something important:
💡 It’s not just about “going through” these steps.
💡 You can be advanced in one area and behind in another.

This is why I focus on Measurement Maturity Levels instead of a simple checklist:

🔹 Foundations → If your marketing measurement feels nonexistent or chaotic, you’re here. Your focus is on setting up basic tracking and visibility.
🔹 Baseline → If you have some visibility (but aren’t using it well yet), you’re here. Your goal is to track consistently, establish your unique benchmarks, and ask better questions regarding your marketing performance.
🔹 Momentum → If you’re actively using your data to make informed marketing decisions, you’re here. You’re refining your insights and optimizing as you go.
🔹 Mastery → If you’re forecasting, running advanced optimization, and confidently scaling, you’re here. You’re using data proactively, not reactively.

And here’s the kicker:
📌 You might be in Momentum for Clarity but stuck in Foundations for Tracking.
📌 You might be optimizing (Action) but have gaps in Insight that is limiting real growth.

This is why marketing measurement is not one-size-fits-all.

So I’d love to hear from you:
